Adult Education

What do Parents do while the Children are in class?

  • Parents participate in an adult education program while their children are in class.  Sessions feature speakers and facilitated discussions on a variety of Christian, Jewish, interfaith or intermarriage topics.
  • Just as our children learn from each other, our families do as well.  Spending time with other parents in like-minded families is an invaluable part of our program.  We encourage parents to remain in the building and be with the other families during class time.  This is the time to build your knowledge about your own and your spouse’s faith and learn from other families that are on the same journey.
  • Our school is parent run so we also meet in committee groups to ensure that the school continues to run smoothly and meets our families’ needs.  We encourage families to actively participate in committees – this is critical to help our school run and is also a great way to work with and deepen your relationships with other interfaith families.
  • We plan holiday parties and charitable outings involving our families and community
